Our Efforts to Stop the 34% Property Tax Increase

This past August, 27,000 signatures were obtained to get the NTPA on a special election ballot.

While the validity of the signatures was confirmed, the Election Commission had questions about some aspects of the petition’s content and language and asked for a judicial opinion before scheduling a special election for the NTPA.

Davidson County Chancellor, Ellen Hobbs-Lyle, also had concerns with some of the content and language of the petition, and made the decision that the petition could not be placed on the ballot as written.

We are currently working with 4 Good Government, taking those concerns into account, to get the NTPA back on the ballot.

Please consider donating to our efforts.

Your financial support will help us get the refiled NTPA petition distributed all across Davidson County.
